Ozzy And Sharon Osbourne Confident Jack Will 'Conquer' MS

Just days after Jack Osbourne
 revealed that he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis earlier this year, rocker dad Ozzy Osbourne has come out encouraging his son to get a second opinion. Ozzy, 63, told Britain's Hello! magazine that he was, "misdiagnosed with MS a few years ago. It took them six months to work out I have a rare hereditary tremor called Parkin Syndrome."

Given his experience, Ozzy has told Jack that he should undergo further testing to make certain that he has MS
 and not some other illness that may be curable. Jack underwent tests in April following the birth of his daughter, Pearl Clementine, when he noticed he'd lost vision in one eye and was experiencing headaches.

He told the magazine that MS is not unknown in his family. "Mum took it really quite hard," Jack said. "My uncle on her side has MS and, the way my mum is, she thinks that somehow it's her fault. Both my parents were handling it way worse than I was. They were pretty shaken up about the whole thing."

Mother Sharon Osbourne burst into tears on Monday while discussing the diagnosis on her show, "The Talk." "He's great, he's doing really really good," she said. "I want to thank everyone for your goodwill and messages ... It's been amazing for Jack, because I really believe that vibes and prayer help. And what I'm doing right now is not helping, because I'm just feeling sorry for myself, and that is no good. So we have to think positively and get on with this show that we love."

By the time she sat down with Conan O'Brien on Tuesday night, though, she had composed herself and was feeling more upbeat about Jack's prognosis. "It's actually been a month and we kept it to ourselves for a month," she said. "He is actually doing amazing, he is so strong and positive ... my son will conquer!"

In the cover story of the new issue of People magazine, Jack reveals that realized something was wrong with him when he "couldn't see anything in front of me." At this point, he's experiencing an 80 percent vision loss in his right eye, but hoping that medication and a healthier diet might help reduce the symptoms of the disease, which attacks the brain and spinal cord.

"It's just one of those things you take as it comes," said Jack, whose vision has improved. "It's all about your outlook." Promising his life is "far from over," Jack is keeping a positive attitude, something Ozzy praised. "He's handled it much better than I would have," the hard rock icon told the magazine. "He's a very strong kid."

Besides, added "America's Got Talent" judge and cancer survivor Sharon, 59, "Osbournes survive everything. We really do."

Yesterday was a fun-filled day taking my husband to the chiropractor on base, and also stopping by a gigantic antique mall in Goodyear, Arizona?called The Brass Armadillo.
?I highly recommend going if you have an afternoon to kill and love antiques! I could have stayed all day browsing, but we had our two little beauties with us, so we were lucky to have stayed a little over an hour.
I plan on going back soon...

The place was full of everything you could think of...antiques, collectibles, furniture, picture frames...I confirmed that I have an obsession with chairs.? The prices were amazing too...

I knew it when I saw it.
That balcony screamed out at me "CHARACTER", and I picked it up to find it was well-built, solid wood?and very sturdy....a little heavy even! It was just what we wanted...perfect size, not too big...

I searched for the ticket price, and {after pricing dollhouses for a while) was scared to see the a 3 digit number, but was glad it was only $29! A total steal, if you ask me!

We kept walking, and I was scanning the booths high and low pretty swiftly, because my daughters were running out of patience. On a top shelf in another booth, I looked up and saw something I didn't intend on buying, but I just couldn't resist...

and it was only $10!

We brought the things home, and I set them on the kitchen table...before I could blink, Noel was using her little Snow White and Aurora figures to play. I even snapped a quick video when she didn't know ;)

?The house needs a little work...updating...roof, floor and walls need some TLC....we are coming up with ideas, and will share more furniture with you soon ;)


Customizing doll house furniture is so fun, and I will probably be posting some ready-to-personalize furniture in case anyone would like something for their dollhouse or a gift.

The Status Quo Doesn?t Work

• Users are stymied because company email systems often do not permit file attachments of more than 10 to 20 megabytes to be sent, and it is not efficient at sending more than a few files at a time. Moreover, email doesn?t typically include a return receipt so the sender can know if the recipient ever received the email. Also, when email is used for file transfer, it imposes increased storage and bandwidth costs, slow message delivery, long backups, long restores, high IT management costs.
• Many users will turn to their personal Webmail account because of their ability to send very large files through these systems. However, when users do so there is no IT visibility into the sent or received content, no tracking, no auditability, and no archiving. Moreover, corporate content can reside in personal Webmail repositories for many years, long after an employee may have left the company. While this makes life easier for users, it increases the risk to the organization.
• USB sticks, tablets and smartphones create the same problems: lack of security, higher costs, their likelihood of being lost or stolen, and the potential for content on them to be accessed by unauthorized parties.
• Dropbox-like file sharing tools and cloud services can be effective, but they do not permit IT management or governance of content. And, they often are individual accounts and not under the sanction of IT which means that IT doesn?t have the visibility or insight into what is being transferred, nor does IT maintain any type of audit trail for this content.
• SharePoint and similar tools are useful for sharing information if both senders and recipients are using it. However, SharePoint require the deployment of a dedicated infrastructure and training for end users, and it is not always easily accessible by remote workers or people external to an organization.
• Basic FTP client-server systems, while useful, require both the sender and recipient to have access to the FTP server to share information, which can be an ongoing provisioning burden for IT.
• Physical delivery of information ? such as CD-ROMs or DVD-ROMs that are burned and sent through overnight services ? is expensive and the speed of delivery is slow

Southern New Mexico prison worker caught bringing drugs to inmate

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - New Mexico authorities say a female prison employee was caught bringing large amounts of heroin and cocaine to an inmate that she identified as her fiance.

Corrections spokeswoman Rosie Sais declined to release the employee's name, her position or say how many drugs were involved in the bust.

She says that information is being withheld until a Monday news conference in downtown Albuquerque.

She also says that the employee was not arrested but that charges against her were pending.

Sais says that the bust is the largest drug bust at the Southern New Mexico Corrections Facility, near Las Cruces, and one of the largest in department history.

Sais says police will provide photos of the drugs and an audio clip of a phone call between the employee and the inmate.
