#1: FPM (Fellow Program in Management)

This doctoral level program from IIM?s is usually for senior level managers who?d like to venture into teaching, mentoring, research and also become high level management thinkers.

Eligibility

• Should have a postgraduate degree or equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks in CGPA.
• Professional Qualification of CA, CS or ICWA with at least 50% marks or equivalent.
• Professional Qualification of MBBS or LLB with at least 55% marks or equivalent in CGPA.
• Engineering degrees are also valid like B.Tech and B.E with at least 60% marks or equivalent.

#2: Ph. D in Banking Technology

This course provides a better perspective and knowledge to those who have had experience in Banking industry or even banking/finance post graduates.

• M. Tech in IT or M.E in IT, CS, E&C, ECE
• The age limit for this programme is 25 years.

One can do this course from Institute for Development and Research in Banking, Hyderabad. They have their own entrance test used for application for any course. #3: Ph. D in Business Development

The course is provided by IIFMR (The Institute for Financial Management and Research) affiliated to University of Madras. It is designed to develop knowledge in the field of finance and economics. It is a 2 year course which is followed by the completion of a thesis, just like a case study. Eligibility

1. Post-Graduates in any discipline.
2. CA, CWA, CS are eligible to apply.
3. Candidates should have obtained first class throughout
4. The program demands quantitative and computing skills.

The course is offered by Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) in Delhi. The institute has a separate, deemed entrance test. Shortlisted candidates are required to appear for a selection test and interview to be held at Institute?s campus in Chennai.

#4: Pd. D in Management

The course is to encourage original work in different aspects of management. To develop scholars who can go on to contribute towards its growth through teaching and research. Master?s degree in Management with 55% above marks in CGPA.

Admission is done through a test, shortlisted candidates have to submit a required research proposal and appear in a personal interview. If that degree or course trains you with special skills and talent, go for it. The general psyche of people is such that they just suggest Ph. D after MBA. But those are not the only options.

If you?re expert in your work, then you can opt for some other Master?s degree courses which will help you increase your performance and hence value.
